You can’t come to Andryes without taking a short diversions to the village of Druyes les Belles Fontaines (10 minutes away by car) or, for the more courageous, a few pedal strokes on your bike!
Everyone in the area knows Virginie, a local figure who has become famous for her herd of goats and her mouth-watering cheeses.
So, holidaymakers, why not take a look at this magnificent farmhouse, home to a herd of goats and their kids.
You’ll fall in love with them, each one more beautiful than the next, and if you’re there around 5pm, you’ll be able to share in the milking.
This courtesy visit doesn’t stop there: push open the door to Virginie’s little shop, where she’ll show you the different shapes and flavours of her cheeses.
Every Friday evening, a speciality awaits you, but be warned, it’s up to you to discover it.
